Star in a Bra USA top thirty: Morgan Frazier

Written by Cheryl on May 22, 2012

We have to say lovely readers, we don’t envy you this last decision making! We know how hard it was selecting the final 30 girls so we have some idea of what it’s like to choose only a few girls from so many beauties. It’s not easy is it? Well fingers crossed these interviews will help you make your decision to pick girls who are not just beautiful on the outside (all 30 meet that criteria!) but someone who you feel reflects what Star in a Bra and Curvy Kate is all about.

Next in line to give her say is Morgan Frazier.

Hi Morgan, why don’t you tell our readers a bit more about you?

Hi! My name is Morgan Frazier, and I am a 22 year old International Studies major at Texas A&M University.  I have a minor in Japanese and I have studied abroad in Japan twice in my life; once for 3 months when I was 17 and for a year when I was 20. I’m told the most defining feature about me is my passion for languages and how they work, including English. I spend most of my free time with a non-profit spoken word organization in my town called “Mic Check,” where we give art back to the community through performance poetry and fundraisers to raise awareness for various causes- one of which recently was for domestic violence. Other interests I am passionate about include photography, travel, and, well, discovering lingerie! As someone who can only buy bras online, I spend a lot of my time reading reviews and researching different brands (which incidentally is what led me to Curvy Kate!). I think in a perfect world it would be my dream job to be able to combine all of the things I love to give back to the community.

We’re so jealous of your travels! We’re feeling rather restless now and in the mood for adventuring! Why did you enter the competition?

Interestingly, the Mic Check community provided me with the motivation and courage to enter this competition. Mic Check’s philosophy is, “Speak or be spoken for,” and I feel by entering this competition I have given a voice to so many women who don’t realize yet that there’s life beyond 32DD or that have missed an opportunity to speak up through competitions like Star in a Bra. I grew up in a body that I despised so much and I wish I had known then that there are more women out there like me with a small ribcage and full bust. No woman should ever feel like she is freakish in size or that her body is not good enough the way it is. I feel like my life has been leading up to this moment of realization where I know I can make a difference in someone’s life just by having the courage to enter this competition.

Stand up and be counted! Why do you think people should vote for you?

Honestly there are so many women in this competition who are equally deserving and beautiful people who will all come out of this competition as amazing role models! If this competition has taught me anything though it’s that our bodies may fluctuate over time but they will always be our bodies and for that reason alone we should celebrate in our own uniqueness. We are beautiful in our own skin and that is a message that I would love to share with the world as the face of Curvy Kate. Best of luck to the rest of the lovely ladies in this competition!! It’s an honor to share this opportunity with y’all!

Do you think Morgan deserves your vote? Well you’d better get your deciding hat on as we’ve only one more girl to hear from!

You have three votes to use, and to cast your vote visit the Star In A Bra website or go to application on the Curvy Kate USA Facebook page.

Next up – and the final girl to be interviewed – is Bonnie Blackmon.
