Star in a Bra USA top thirty: Genny Miliano

Who’s up next, you say? Well it’s the fabulous Genny Miliano.
Hi Genny, why don’t you tell us all a little about yourself?
Hello my name is Genny Miliano and I was born and raised in Harlem, New York. I am 27 years of age. I like to dance, travel, and take photographs of people, places and things. When it comes to music I listen to everything from Merengue and R&B to Electronic Dance Music. I am a sporty girl. When I am not out jogging on the Brooklyn Bridge, I am usually out in my neighborhood park playing basketball with the guys. My favorite color is purple and my favorite movie is Disney’s Aladdin (sad but true).
We love Aladdin too so we don’t think that’s sad at all! Why did you decide to enter the competition?
I decided to enter the competition because I felt I would be a perfect match for the image of Curvy Kate brand. Curvy Kate is a company that celebrates the intrinsic beauty of a woman and as a consumer it has change my outlook on women’s lingerie.
Just before I was introduced to Curvy Kate I recall shopping for bras. One day, I asked one of the Sales people at a local lingerie boutique if they could measure my bust, because my C-cup bras were not fitting. After a few try-ons, the woman who was helping me looked into my face with shock and declared “Girl you are a D cup!!” I was surprised and embarrassed a little. I could not believe that for seven years I was wearing the wrong bra size and I immediately went on a bra-shopping spree. After days of “bra hunting”, the sad reality hit me that when it comes to bras, there is not a lot of variety for big-breasted women. And that is why I would like to represent a global force like Curvy Kate–because they solve the problem.
I think we can all identify with that changing room epiphany moment! Finallly, why do you think people should vote for you?
People should vote for me because I am a fresh new face with a fresh new look for Curvy Kate. Curvy Kate has never had a woman with my style and personality, that is why I am confident that I will make an awesome addition to the team.
