Curvy Kate has unveil a new look, non transactional website built uniquely by their in-house design team. The major overhaul of the existing website has taken several months and has been rebuilt across the front and back ends, including a tailor made customer service system.
Curvy Kate hopes the soft launch of the new website will open opportunities with retailers worldwide and continue with the growth seen in their first year of trade. The site will feature editorial content, product pricing, photography, videography, product zoom, retailer search options and links to social networking sites.
The previous site attracted over 12,000 unique visitors a month, with a social networking following of nearly 1000 fans, which includes an interactive blog plus facebook and twitter accounts. The new design includes a monthly newsletter to subscribers to build brand recognition and help retailers and consumers understand the brands personality.
Steve Hudson, Managing Director explains why they have rebuilt the site.
‘The company has seen impressive growth since the launch in July 2009. We have really focused on how we can promote our current retailers and this is why we want the site to remain non-transactional. The brand is now delivering to a huge market worldwide and we want to make sure our relationships remain personal, however company growth continues.’
‘With added editorial content such as ‘Store of the Month’, events pages and regular updates on our social networking sites, the site will help us to market the existing retailers who are selling the brand and also gather feedback easily.’
Curvy Kate’s DD – K cup lingerie is now stocked in over 300 stores across the UK, with distributors and agents in 6 countries Worldwide. Current retailers include Sadie the Bra Lady, Bravissimo, Simply Yours, Fenwicks and the new Arcadia website Style369.

The Little Big Bra Shop has only been open just over 7 months but has already received a fantastic reaction from curvy girls in the Market Harborough area. News of the specialist bra fitting service has spread and the business continues to grow with customers travelling from as far as Rugby, just to hear owner Karen Forbes expert opinion.
Karen Forbes, who has previous experience in the big bra industry, says there are a huge variety of curvy customers wanting styles for their voluptuous shapes. With a mix of younger girls asking for more glamorous pieces and more mature women looking for the lift and support, Curvy Kate seems to tick all the right boxes.
Over the last few months a favourite bra, in this affluent market town has been the Tease Me bra which has been stocked in Coral, Lemon and is now available in Deep Purple for the Autumn/Winter 2010 collection. The Princess bra has also worked well as a staple for everyday wear offering a trendy up to date look with the soft raised polka dot.
With several PR events taking place since the store opening, it’s no wonder the Little Bra Shop has seen such success. Local press have attended various events with live models in the windows showing off the gorgeous Curvy Kate ranges.
‘Our model Hannah looked divine in our shop window and certainly drew attention from passers by. Our clients love the burlesque styling, in particular the cute frills on the Showgirl briefs.’

A press campaign including radio adverts will run along side this.
